1987 Gibson SG Special Red
Here's a 1987 Gibson SG Special in Ferrari Red finish. Clean, 100% original example. No breaks, cracks, repairs. This was a re-design of the SG Special introduced in 1985, and went to 1996. 3 control knobs, and two Pat No Stamped humbuckers. The guitar plays & sounds fantastic! Balanced, light weight, and very resonant. The neck is butter, with slinky low action down the board. The profile is similar to a '61 reissue SG, which is a little more on the flatter side, rather than big & chunky. It's super comfortable. The pickups are strong & clear...sounds KILLER.
