Gibson 2004 The J-180 Everly Brothers

The J-180 is the signature model of the Everly Brothers, a country unit formed by brothers Don Everly and Phil Everly.

The body is a jumbo type, slightly smaller than the J-200, and has a distinctive look with an ebony black finish, tortoiseshell double pickguard and star-shaped inlays.

An L.R baggs Element pickup has been retrofitted.

The strap pins have been moved from the body back to the neck heel, with the original holes filled in.

There are age-related weather checks, mainly on the top of the body and back of the neck.

The truss rod cover is cracked, there is a rather large ding in the corner at the base of the head, numerous tiny dents and scratches throughout the body and several tiny dents on the back of the neck.

The frets are not dented and there is about 70% remaining, and the neck and the truss rod are both in good playing condition with no problems.
